A Food for Special Medical Purposes, Bebe M Rice Formula 3rd stage is made with organic rice protein hydrolysate and is thickened with carob and corn starch. This formula is labeled as "Foods for special medical purposes (FSMPs)" and should be only given under medical supervision. Please consult your pediatrician before introducing this formula to your baby. It was created specifically to address the dietary requirements of infants who have reached the age of at least 10 (ten) months, in cases of allergy to cow's milk proteins and/or lactose intolerance, and in cases of regurgitation. It can only be a part of a varied diet when a child is growing. It is not a viable alternative to breast milk for the first six months of life. Third stage Bebe M Rice AR is appropriate for specific diets that exclude lactose and the proteins found in cow's milk. It is also gluten-free and lactose-free. DHA is present in Bebe M Rice AR 3rd stage as required by legislation for all subsequent formulations. For babies with galactosemia, the third stage of the Bebe M. Rice AR is not recommended. Third stage of Bebe M. Rice AR must be used with medical guidance.
